The finest outdoor woods were the starting point for our designers as they set out to create the ideal outdoor barrel sauna. Most other barrel saunas are small and offer little room to relax. Many barrels trap water that can actually promote rot. Some are made of thin or wide boards that do not provide a good seal. Our designers spared no expense and engineer their barrels with an amazing 6' 5" interior height. The barrel perimeter benefits from the industry-leading 1.65” thick full-length staves that provide the ideal seal. Wood thickness is the theme in our Nordic Barrel Saunas and provides bathers with ergonomically crafted benches and backrests from Thermo-Aspen (1.1” thick and 3-1/2” wide) nearly 50% thicker than most. All materials are precision-milled and installers are provided with our step-by-step proprietary assembly process.
