The Allegheny sauna is designed for exceptional performance in any climate year-round. The peaked roof can handle a substantial snow load, and the front porch area serves as a place to cool off between sauna rounds. The Allegheny comes from Finland, the birthplace of authentic sauna culture which represents a time-honored practice to the fullest.

This cabin sauna was designed with retreat in mind. The cabin design includes a front porch, perfect for your post-sauna furniture. The sloped roof makes it perfect for all weather, and adds a spacious feel to the interior with high ceilings. The sauna room has two bench levels. If you prefer high heat, you can lounge on the top or move to the bottom bench for a cooler sauna experience. The sauna room can be paired with either a Harvia 8kW electric heater or a wood-burning stove. Both are designed to heat the space up to around 180ºF, and the electric heater has a delay function up to eight hours! The sauna has space to accommodate up to six people. With the Allegheny, you’ll be hosting sauna parties in no time in this cabin sauna.

Due to the size of the Allegheny, specialized flatbed shipping is required. The customer is responsible for offloading. This is typically done with a rented forklift, or offloading the unit piece-by-piece with a group of 3-4 people.
Shipping included except for extremely remote locations. Additional fees required for addresses that are outside of the contiguous United States.

Definite handyman or contracting skills are required. The instructions are basic and written for a global market with the assumption that the assembler has construction experience. Do not attempt to build on your own if you are not familiar with construction practices nor able to work with general instructions. It is recommended that you read the assembly manual in advance if you are unsure of your ability. Two people can generally assemble the unit in 2-3 days.

Traditional saunas require very little upkeep. Simply wipe down the interior after each use and check for any dust or debris that you may have tracked in. Read more about long-term care and maintenance here.
