This 6’x5’ barrel sauna fits up to four people, with a Harvia 4.5kW electric heater that efficiently heats the space up to 180ºF. If the party starts later, delay the start time up to eight hours while you prepare, and expect a fully heated sauna when the time is right. Indoors or out, the Watoga DIY barrel sauna is ready to turn your house into a home.

Crafted from hemlock fir, these durable floor kits come in custom fit sections that are free standing and easily installed in any new or existing sauna. Lumber Type: Choose between two different types of solid lumber. Rustic fir is light in color, with small knots creating a unique pattern on each piece. Rustic cedar has a slightly red hue amongst the knots and boasts a pleasant cedar aroma.
Heater: You can upgrade the Watoga from the standard 4.5kW KIP heater to a 6kW KIP.
Door Style: The Watoga comes standard with a deluxe glass door.
Vista Rear Window: Open the barrel sauna interior to breathtaking views with the addition of the vista rear window. This 20” x 36” piece of 3/8” glass sits on the back end barrel, above the electric heater.

Some basic handyman skills are helpful when assembling the sauna. The only additional equipment needed is a cordless drill. Two people can generally do the assembly in 6 hours or less. It is recommended that you review the assembly manual in advance to familiarize yourself with the process.

Traditional saunas require very little upkeep. Simply wipe down the interior after each use and check for any dust or debris that you may have tracked in. Read more about long-term care and maintenance here.
